Connecting your hearing aids to a remote control allows you to adjust the volume and program on your hearing aids and other devices.
Before you can use your remote control with your hearing aids, the devices need to be paired.
You can choose to pair the remote control one hearing aid at a time or with two hearing aids at the same time. If you pair your hearing aids one at a time, you’ll need to repeat the pairing process for the second hearing aid.
The remote control can operate up to two hearing aids at a time. After you have paired two hearing aids to the remote control, both will be adjusted at the same time.
Press any button to check that the status indicator light illuminates.
If the batteries are running low, the status light will blink rapidly whenever a button is pressed. In this case, replace the batteries.
Turn your hearing aids off and then on again.
The hearing aids are now ready for the first connection with the ConnectClip. You now have three minutes to complete the pairing.
When you use the remote control to adjust your hearing aids, you will hear a sound to confirm the action has been performed.
You can operate your hearing aids with the remote control from a distance of up to 1.8 metres (3.3 feet).
To use the remote control with different hearing aids, you have to remove any other pairings.
To clear the current pairing, press and hold the three buttons together for five seconds.
When the status light on the remote control illuminates steady green for 10 seconds, the pairing has been cleared successfully.
