How to connect Oticon hearing aids to the Internet

A world of possibilities

If you have Oticon hearing aids with Bluetooth
technology, you can make them interact with the
Internet of Things.

When you turn on your hearing aids in the morning, they can trigger your lights,
coffee machine, or smart thermostat. Later, your hearing aids can notify you when your battery is low, the laundry is finished, or someone's at the door.
The possibilities are almost endless.

What is the Internet of Things?

Many ordinary devices can connect to the Internet. And many services are online too, such as calendars.

This is the Internet of Things.

By using Oticon’s free hearing aid app Oticon ON, you can link your hearing aids to Internet-connected devices and services that you choose – such as home appliances, lighting systems, email, calendars, and much more.

To set it up, you need to use our Oticon ON App, which connects to a free, Internet-based service called IFTTT (IF This Then That).
